Product Description

Finnish Design - Our familiar designer Lauri Lumme has improved the model so that the VMK25 collects less wind and is more suitable for all kinds of exercise. We believe that headphones do not need to glow in the dark or flash, so we placed both function LEDs inside the headphones. This way, you can trust that you won't be noticed when sneaking around with VMK25 on your head. In addition, we made the side panels interchangeable, making them much easier to keep clean, tune yourself and change according to current TikTok trends. If you have a 3D printer, you can download the models for printing your own shells for free from here.

Ergonomics and Quality - The repositioned headphone size adjustment allows a wider range of adjustment than before (making life easier for those with particularly large and small heads). All-around sturdier and higher quality structure, as well as a wonderfully soft soft touch coating. The overall fit is sturdier, surface materials a bit more luxurious, ear cups a bit more spacious, and the frame even more durable.

Even Better Sound Quality - VMK20 has already received a lot of honor among golden ears. The new (and larger and better) headphone elements enable top sound. Our sound guru Jasse "Jazmanaut" Kesti couldn't believe his ears when he got to adjust these. The sound profile is the old familiar and studio-like neutral one, which our audio nerd Jasse "Jazmanaut" Kesti has honed and adjusted. The music sounds like it was painstakingly mixed and mastered in the studio. The title of "Sound Masturbator" is certainly earned!

Excellent Noise Cancellation - A completely new noise cancellation chipset further reduces background noise. The noise cancellation now also features a transparency mode, which we think is silly, but customers requested. By pressing a button, the headphones use the noise-canceling microphones to let environmental sounds pass through. Is it now anti-noise cancellation? This is a handy feature that allows you to hear announcements and maybe eavesdrop on your neighbors, thinking you're blasting Sebuldura next to them at full volume. Ha-ha!

PS. By the way, you can get really nice, handmade wooden covers from here if you want.

Hear the Cellos as They Were Meant to Be Heard!

So, here we go: We wanted to do some collaborative thingie with our fellow countrymen at Valco, because their agenda represents the same values and ambitions that we have always (or at least quite often) cherished with our work with Apocalyptica. That is, superior quality; meeting self-irony one must possess some twinkle in your eye, right? If it's not, it's no fun - and fun must be had!

That said: Get your head full of noise pollution with these Valco "X" Apocalyptica-limited edition antigravital noisereduction ANC headphones!!!

For once, you can finally hear all the commotion and disturbing frequencies of the cellos just as they're meant to be heard - causing some slight pain, but leading to even greater pleasure with the listening experience!

Apocalyptica

In the world of heavy music, only a few artists can claim to have changed history twice. Apocalyptica's story is exactly that. Founded in 1993 at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, the band combined the passion and love of four classically trained musicians for Metallica. This tribute led to their debut album, "Plays Metallica by Four Cellos," in 1996, which quickly propelled Apocalyptica to open for Metallica.

Apocalyptica's ability to merge classical music with heavy metal is unparalleled. Their second album, "Inquisition Symphony," introduced their original compositions, and "Cult" enriched their soundscape by adding drums and guest vocalists.

With the album "Reflections" (2003), the band took a significant step forward by hiring Slayer's Dave Lombardo on drums. This solidified their place among the most innovative metal bands. Apocalyptica's knack for attracting renowned musicians like Ville Valo, Corey Taylor, and Till Lindemann highlights their musical significance and wide influence.

"Worlds Collide" (2007) brought tremendous success, and the hit "I Don't Care" with Adam Gontier topped the US rock charts. The 2010 album "7th Symphony" further reinforced Apocalyptica's status as an innovative force in music.

Recent projects, such as the instrumental album "Cell-0" (2020) and the collaboration with The Rasmus on the song "Venomous Moon" (2021), show that Apocalyptica continues to break musical boundaries and surprise fans. The band's music has been featured in movies, TV shows, and games, demonstrating their broad impact.

Apocalyptica's journey has been an incredible fusion of classical music and heavy metal, and their story continues. It is fitting that their latest album, "Plays Metallica, Vol. 2," returns to their roots. This love letter is a tribute to both the band's beginnings and their current passion. Apocalyptica's musical journey is filled with passion, innovation, and unforgettable moments.
